St. Paul's Cathedral generously offers itself as the main focal point through the mighty curved glass panels to the South East.
The southern elevation illustrates the stepped form of the roof breaking up the skyline.
This pre-planning cladding study looked at introducing subtle tone variations to the shading fin across the southern facade.

The building's Pas de Deux form with a lower portion addressing the adjacent building on Shoe Lane, complimented by a taller partner rising to a pinnacle looking towards St. Paul's, successfully responds not just to the local context but also to the London skyline. External 'butterfly shaped' fins shading full height glazing result in excellent internal daylight values and generous views to the outside. One New Street Square was pre-let in its entirety to Deloitte LLP more than a year before its completion in October 2016 and is currently being fitted out ready for occupation.
