"Architecture is making places in which you can feel at peace, where time is suspended in stillness, free from superficiality."
I was born and grew up in a small town close to Rome. Being in contact with nature and simultaneously experiencing a unique city like Rome gave me a constant source of inspiration and still informs my approach to architecture.
Starting from the site characteristics, in my designs I often make use of natural materials and natural light. Treating light as a material itself I aim to create a feeling of unique and timeless space for the those inhabiting the building.
I graduated with Honors in Architecture at Sapienza University in Rome. After winning the “Prix de Rome 2010”, International Student Competition, I embarked a postgraduate programme in “Museum Design on Archaeological Sites”. Here I workshoped at many different universities: University of Athens, the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia, Pratt Institute of New York and Politecnico of Milan.
I have also been part of the teams at Claudio Silvestrin Architects and Foster and Partners. Both experiences allowed me to work on great design-quality projects, ranging from £12 million luxury residential to $1.5 billion international hospitals. These projects consolidated in me a strong design-oriented attitude.
RPP is really built around people; the friendly environment encourages us to express our personal talent to the best of our possibilities.
At RPP, I aim to improve my design skills and push the boundaries on strong conceptual design schemes, increasing a more integrated design approach through BIM technology.
