We are pleased to announce that our Paddington based 3 Merchant Square project has been shortlisted for The Concrete Society's Excellence in Concrete Awards 2015.
These prestigious awards showcase the use of concrete within architectural projects and is the longest-running awards event in the UK construction industry.
The façade of 3 Merchant Square was was designed to be richly articulated with a depth that would convey a sense of solidity and protection to its occupants, emphasising the building’s residential character and was constructed by Permasteelisa and Loveld NV using GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete).
Kathy Calverley, managing director of The Concrete Society, said, “We had a remarkable response to our call for nominations and our judges have had a difficult task to reach the final shortlist. We look forward to celebrating these wonderful projects and to present such excellent examples of design and construction in concrete at The Concrete Society Awards dinner in November. May I take this opportunity to offer my congratulations and that of our President Designate, Martyn Fear, to all those who have reached this stage of the competition.”
The Awards will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on 4th November 2015. We hope to update you with the good news then!
