Understanding and addressing the site's unique constraints was the key to generating a distinctive and elegant piece of architecture.
Revitalising a rapidly changing area of London this project will deliver BREEAM 'Excellent' rated office and retail accommodation. The building's Pas de Deux form with a lower portion addressing the adjacent building on Shoe Lane, complimented by a taller partner rising to a pinnacle looking towards St. Paul's, successfully responds not just to the local context but also to the London skyline. External 'butterfly shaped' fins shading full height glazing result in excellent internal daylight values and generous views to the outside. One New Street Square was pre-let in its entirety to Deloitte LLP more than a year before its completion in October 2016 and is currently being fitted out ready for occupation.
