"The most inspirational thing is the mind."
My passion for drawing has always influenced my career choices and from an early age I was sketching landscapes and buildings. However, I was raised in a musical family and playing several instruments from the age of 5 meant that music has always been close to my heart.
I have had a mixed working life. I initially studied graphic design and illustration at degree level before working for a new media company in Estonia for 4 years. My early career was working mostly in interactive design, then from graphic design and illustration to website, online games and interface design. My illustration skills took me to work for Star Trek fact file magazine and then to graphic design work producing posters and magazines for dance festivals and events in Estonia. My website and interactive design experience lead me to work for Vodafone, Citroen, Nokia.
My architectural study started in Oxford Brookes, which created a new inspiration and passion in my life. After obtaining my Part 3 the focus of my development was to use my passion for computer technology as an enabler for the design process. My role at RPP is perfect for this as I help create a BIM process that would support and enhance creativity and design.
