, an Oxford Brookes alumnus, was invited to deliver a keynote address and to launch the Oxford Brookes School of Architecture End of Year show. In his address he congratulated all the students for their brilliant efforts and thanked all of the staff for the extraordinary amount of assistance in delivering the fantastic exhibition.
This was an exciting exhibit with order and clarity. Crafted and curated with care showing the professionalism and the passion of the university. It was a culmination of a hardworking year, which sees students make their way into the professional environment.
A key message that Andi delivered was 'the power of story' - "In academia as well as the professional context a powerful story will always be key to your success and it will help to define how you approach your career and how you justify your decision making process"
We are proud to be directly involved with the university as a way of facilitating the transition period between academia and professional life. We work very closely with Oxford Brookes and other universities to establish a methodology and to materialise this process.
Oxford Brookes' postgraduate MArchD are bringing selected works to London and we are delighted to be hosting their show at our studios from Monday 27th June until Friday 1st July. The exhibition 'Built Around People' is proudly part of the London Festival of Architecture 2016.
