On 10th March RPP cycle champions Mark Williams-Jones and Louisa Beaven will be taking part in The Legal and General Cycle to MIPIM.
The ride organised by Club Peloton is an epic 1452km cycling endurance event taking 100 professionals from London to the international real estate show, MIPIM, in Cannes. Over 6 days they will ride at least 100-150km a day in a relay format, completing at least two stages per day. The 5am starts, late finishes and unpredictable weather will make this even more challenging. Working together with the rest of the peloton to push their tired bodies through the terrain will help to make this a truly bonding and memorable experience for all.
The challenge is also a fantastic way of raising money for local charities. This year the main beneficiary is Coram, the UK’s first dedicated children’s charity. We have a huge fundraising target of £6000, which thanks to some generous corporate contributions from European Land, Land Securities, JJ Sweeney Ltd and Quotidian we are well on our way to reaching!

We wish all the riders the best of luck for this endeavour and we will keep you posted on the training and fundraising progress of Mark and Louisa in the lead up to the event!
