A team from RPP battled hard to finish 5th in the inaugural Italian Pursuit race at the Olympic Velodrome.
The event, part of the Club Peloton 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner, saw teams from the property industry compete in a series of 8 lap pursuit races around the famous velodrome in the Olympic Park. RPP's crack team, drawn from a pool of willing volunteers within the industry, and having trained only once, managed to secure a spot in the 5th place decider against Broadgate Estates. An extraordinary team effort saw an initial lead for Broadgate Estates overhauled in the closing laps, to give RPP victory by a margin of just 8/10ths of a second. Well done to all involved.
Over the last decade 'Cycle To...' have built up a community of riders and sponsors they affectionately call Club Peloton. The evening featured the launch of their 10th anniversary book, with drinks, dinner and awards highlighting the property industry’s commitment to cycling, as well as a special appearance from cycling stars Ned Boulting and David and Fran Millar.
