Every year we find different ways to make an effective contribution towards those less fortunate than ourselves, including support for our own staff charity initiatives.
We believe that helping people to help themselves can be a very effective means of providing support, and this approach is perhaps best embodied in our Electronic Christmas cards where each year we provide support in a way that helps families to work their way out of poverty by helping them to build their own businesses.
To date this has included the contribution of 18 goats, 3 llamas, 20 bee hives and a tent, to a variety of families, in places ranging from Tanzania to the Bolivian Altiplano.
